Bruce Young is an experienced marketing manager currently employed at The Omni Homestead since March 2022. Prior to this role, Bruce served as the Lexington bureau chief and photojournalist at WDBJ7 from December 2015 to March 2022. Bruce's career includes positions as a photographer and editor at Fox 21/27, news photographer at WDBJ TV Inc., and director at The Evans-McCan Group. Bruce has also worked as a contract photographer for both Reuters Photo and United Press International, focusing on news coverage in Washington, DC. Additional experience includes editing, camerawork, and graphics at CinemaSound, as well as serving as assistant editor for the White House News Summary. Bruce holds a Master of Arts in History from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Washington and Lee University.
