David Cheung

David Cheung has extensive experience in the produce industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Fruit Purchasing at Oppy since 2007. In addition to his role at Oppy, David is actively involved with the BC Produce Marketing Association, holding multiple titles including Member of the Board of Directors, Vice President, and President. Previously, David was the Owner of Como Lake Farm Market from 2006 to 2011 and worked as a District Produce Supervisor at H Y Louie Co./IGA for a brief period in 2007. David’s career began in 1983 at Tom Yee Produce, where David served as Produce Buyer/Manager, followed by a position as Produce Buyer at Overwaitea Food Group from 1994 to 2005. David holds an educational background from Sir Winston Churchill, where studies were completed from 1978 to 1983.
