Community School Family Partnerships Coordinator With South Portland Middle School at The Opportunity Alliance

Tara Rivera, M.A., C.L.C., is an experienced professional in family support and community partnerships, currently serving as the Community School Family Partnerships Coordinator at The Opportunity Alliance since September 2013. In this role, Tara focuses on ensuring equitable access to resources for families, facilitating partnerships, and executing community events. Prior experience includes serving as the Maine Families Assistant Director, where Tara managed family support services and staff development, and as a Homeless Youth Services Case Manager, assisting clients in securing stable housing and necessary services. Tara has also held positions as a Transitions Manager at More Than Words and a Direct Service Advocate at Just A Start, providing case management and support to youth and young families.
