Mike Stredder

Mike is responsible for implementing OSJCT strategy in care homes and ensuring that best practice is followed.

Mike joined OSJCT in Autumn 2020 and has worked in a variety of healthcare sectors in his professional life, most recently as Director of Operations for NHS Blood and Transplant. Previous roles have taken him to pharmacy with Lloyds and Boots and dental health with Oasis Dental Care.

Mike brings great experience of working with CQC and other regulators and he was drawn to the role at OSJCT because of the trust’s core values, particularly the dedication to caring and having respect for each other.

Outside of work Mike describes himself as ‘sports mad’ and is a keen runner, tennis player and skier. He and his wife, Liz, have three children aged between 18 and 22.
