Dr. Ernesto Fonseca

Dr. Ernesto Fonseca serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Hacienda CDC, the largest Latino Housing Development and Services Company in Oregon, since April 2017. Dr. Fonseca also contributes as a Commissioner for the Portland Housing Bureau and a Member of the Board of Directors for The Oregon Community Foundation. Additionally, Dr. Fonseca holds positions on the Board of Directors for Housing Oregon and previously served on the Board of Directors for Energy Trust of Oregon and The Prosperity Agenda. Dr. Fonseca has been an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Portland State University - School of Business since March 2018 and is a partner and architect at Baja Properties, focusing on an eco-village project. Dr. Fonseca earned a PhD in Environmental Design & Planning and a Master's in Building Design from Arizona State University, along with specialized studies in construction and architecture from Universidad de Guadalajara and Universidad del Valle de México.
