Aaron Hutchins

Aaron Hutchins is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles. Currently serving as Deputy Editor at Ottawa Citizen since October 2022, Hutchins previously held the position of Associate Editor at Maclean's magazine from October 2014 to September 2022. Earlier experience includes Senior Writer at Kidscreen for a brief period in 2014, as well as various editorial roles at Maclean's, including Contributing Editor and Writer. Hutchins began a career in journalism contributing to Sportsnet Magazine in 2012. Hutchins holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Ryerson University (2011-2013), a degree in Communications Science from the University of Hohenheim (2006-2007), and a degree in Media, Information and Technoculture from Western University (2003-2007).
