Debra Pugh

Debra Pugh is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as a Medical Education Advisor at the Medical Council of Canada since September 2018. In addition to this role, Debra has held the position of Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and has practiced as a General Internal Medicine Physician at The Ottawa Hospital since July 2005. Debra's educational background includes a Masters in Health Professions Education from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Specialist in General Internal Medicine, and an FRCPC in Internal Medicine from the University of Ottawa, along with a Doctor of Medicine from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Thomas University.
