Suzanne Madore

Suzanne has over 30 years of service at The Ottawa Hospital, where she began as primary care registered nurse before working for many years in a variety of very different departments. To support her many years of experience as a clinical manager, Suzanne completed a master's degree in nursing with a focus on leadership. She became Clinical Manager in the Cancer Program in 2005, then in 2014, she held the position of Clinical Director of the Regional Cancer Program. Subsequently, she became Director of the Surgical Services Sector and then Acting Executive Director of Regional Operations.

Suzanne was recognized for her exceptional leadership as she was nominated and selected as the winner for the Outstanding Leader award in the 2020 TOH Excellence Awards. Her deep commitment to this community and her devoted approach to patient-centered care are key qualities that make her an exceptional leader.
