Nick Bubb has extensive work experience in finance and operations roles. Nick is currently serving as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and Head of IT at The Outdoor Education Group (OEG), where they focus on simplification, transparency, accountability, and driving transformation outcomes for the organization. Prior to this, they served as the Board Member/Treasurer at Inner Melbourne Community Legal, overseeing the financial aspects of the nonprofit organization. Before that, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ashfords, where they were responsible for the performance and growth of the company. Nick has also worked as a Consultant, Head of Operations at Clarendon Lawyers, and as a Business Solutions Consultant when they were self-employed. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, including Planning and Analysis Manager, Finance Manager - Projects, Finance Manager - Personal Injury Law, Finance Manager - Corporate, and Group Accountant. Additionally, they served as the Treasurer at Timberline Ski Lodge and had contract accounting positions. Overall, Nick Bubb has a diverse range of experiences in finance, operations, and leadership positions.
Nick Bubb obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Accountancy from RMIT University. Nick also holds a Post Grad Diploma (CA) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

The Outdoor Education Group (OEG) is a for-purpose organisation, seeking to make learning outdoors accessible to all young Australians. We help young Australians realise their personal best by creating experiences in the outdoors to grow their sense of self and the core skills that will help them navigate their future. We help students grow; we help schools perform. We help parents enjoy more mature, independent children, helping young people become real world ready. From providing industry-leading pre-set courses to fully tailored, contextualised programs, we connect with schools across the country to bring education outdoors. Our ‘not for profit’ status is central to our work as it enables us to offer excellent value, support worthy projects and invest in improving our participant’s experience in the outdoors. Founded in 1984, we employ 400+ diversely talented and experienced staff, and even have our own accredited training academy. To date, we’ve educated and cared for 2 million students (and counting). We believe in the power of experiential learning in the outdoors because it is: Meaningful – real, applied learning and experiences with purpose, actions and consequences. Memorable – the experience stands out and stays with you for life. It is fun yet challenging. Character Building – it enables individuals to recognise there is more to themselves and others than they realised. It improves and builds upon an individual’s strengths. Transferable – learning life skills to apply in multiple situations and settings. It equips individuals to thrive throughout life.
