Nilima Gulrajani serves as the Interim Executive Director and Senior Research Fellow at ODI Global Washington since October 2015, where a portfolio of applied policy research is managed and leadership in nurturing relationships with funders and stakeholders is provided. Expertise in multiple research methodologies supports public policy development and consulting, while collaboration with production and communications teams enhances research impact. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate at the University of Oxford, focusing on global aid governance, and Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where Nilima taught courses in international public management. An early career as an International Economist in the Government of Canada involved advocacy and monitoring of public expenditure policies. Nilima holds a PhD in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and an M.Phil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, along with a BA in Economics and Political Science from McGill University.
