The Pantagraph
Robyn Skaggs is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in features editing and public relations. Currently serving as Regional Features Editor at The Pantagraph since December 2020, Robyn previously held the role of Features Editor at The Register-Mail from December 2016 to December 2020 and at the Southeast Missourian from July 2008 to December 2016, where additional roles included Editor and Assistant Editor of Special Publications. A background in public relations was gained through a position as a Survey Reader for Hendrickson Business Advisors, LLC and an internship at the Ray Graham Association. Robyn also has experience in news editing and sales, beginning as a Student Writer at North Central College and accumulating various roles at the North Central Chronicle. Academically, Robyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Sociology, and Gender and Women's Studies from North Central College. High school education was completed at Streator Township High School with a diploma attained in 2004.
