Courtney Carlsson has a diverse work experience, having worked in various positions since 2007. Courtney started their career as a Communications Assistant at Georgetown University Medical Centre Office of Communications in 2007. In 2008, they became a Manager at FCT Fund Management Pte. Ltd. and in 2011, they were an Account Executive at CELINE, LVMH. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Global Sales Manager at The Row, LLC / Dualstar Entertainment Group, where they grew the division's sales by over 100%. In 2015, they were an EMEA Sales Operations MBA Intern at LinkedIn, and a VP of Business Development at SOMA Analytics, a deep tech digital health business that was acquired by Prenetics. In 2021, they became a Fellow at What If Ventures, and in 2022, they joined Republic as a Venture Partner and The Fund as an Investor. Courtney is currently the Founder & CEO of Paradym, a modern mental health app programme with personalised pathways.

Courtney Carlsson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Economy and Philosophy from Georgetown University. Courtney then pursued an MBA from London Business School. Following this, Courtney studied Philosophy & Politics at Université Paris-Sorbonne. Courtney also received an ACSTH & CCE Accredited Certification in Transformational Life Coaching from Animas Centre for Coaching. Additionally, Courtney has obtained a Certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling from Regent's University London and a Group Coaching Certificate from Animas Centre for Coaching.
