John Woolley, CEPA has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. John began their career at The Bank of New York where they served as an Assistant Vice President, managing a loan portfolio of approximately $300MM. John then moved on to Cort MacKenzie Securities as a Vice President, followed by founding their own company, Tamarack Capital, which focused on mezzanine debt in the Western states. After that, they joined Northwest Investment Counselors, LLC as a Principal and Portfolio Manager, specializing in fixed income. In 2013, they joined KeyBank as a Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for portfolio construction and management of high net worth individuals and nonprofit organizations. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director of Wealth Management at The Partners Group and is also the President and Chief Investment Officer at TPG Financial Advisors, LLC. John Woolley is a well-rounded professional with extensive experience in the finance industry.

John Woolley, CEPA, completed their education in a chronological order. John first attended Staples HS from 1980 to 1983, where they pursued their high school education. John then enrolled at Middlebury College from 1983 to 1987, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. During their time at Middlebury, they also pursued minors in Art History and Biology. After a few years, John Woolley returned to academia and enrolled at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business from 1992 to 1994. Here, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance. Alongside their formal education, John Woolley also holds a certification as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) from the Exit Planning Institute, obtained in 2022.
