Patterson is the founder of The Patterson Law Firm, LLC, established in April 2000, where a team of fourteen lawyers specializes in representing businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Prior to this, Thomas E. Patterson served as a partner and associate at Wildman Harrold from 1981 to 1994, focusing on the preparation and trial of business lawsuits. Thomas E. Patterson holds a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law (1979) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Illinois Wesleyan University (1975). Early education was completed at Petersburg High School (1970) and Naperville Central High School.
