Riccardo Tordera-Ricchi has a diverse range of work experience. Riccardo is currently working at The Payments Association as the Head of Policy & Government Relations since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Policy Manager from April 2021 to March 2022.

From 2015 to 2021, Riccardo worked at Banca d'Italia, serving as a Senior Advisor to the Chief Representative in the UK from September 2019 to March 2021, and as an Advisor to the Chief Representative in the UK from September 2015 to August 2019.

Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma in Viola from the Conservatorio di Musica "A. Casella" - L'Aquila from 1994 to 2007. In 2012, they participated in the Diplomatic Studies Program at Luiss Guido Carli University. Riccardo later attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in 2019, for a Fintech Program. Riccardo'sacademic journey continued at Birkbeck, University of London, where they pursued an MSc in Data Science from 2020 to 2023.
