David Brown

David Brown has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. David started their career as the President of Harrington Brown LLC in 2009 and later became the Managing Director of Real Estate at The Peakstone Group in 2012. In 2014, they became an Investor and Advisor at Megalytics Inc and a Business Investor at Band of Bohemia, LLC. In 2019, they took on the role of Vice Chairman at Memory Ventures, a company focused on preserving life's memories. David also co-founded BiographyNOW, a personalized life story book company, where they served as the Co-Founder and Chairman from 2011 to 2019. Additionally, they served as the President and CEO of ORIX Corporation USA from 2003 to 2008 and was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers from 2000 to 2003. Currently, David is a Partner at Forbidden Root, a craft brewery and restaurant, and a Substitute Teacher at Chicago Public Schools.

David Brown completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies, Political Science, and Sociology at Northwestern University from 1980 to 1984. David then pursued a Master of Public Policy degree with a specialization in Housing and Community Development at Harvard Kennedy School from 1984 to 1986.
