Heather Gibbs has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving as Deputy Chief Programs Officer at The People Concern since August 2019, where responsibilities have included roles as Senior Director and Director. In addition, Heather has been an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology since April 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Therapist I and Therapist II at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services and as a Case Manager at Exodus Recovery Inc. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Psychology from UC Irvine. Early professional experience as a Graduate Assistant at Pepperdine University involved managing office duties and maintaining client files for psychological assessments.
