Kristy Edmunds is an accomplished arts leader with extensive experience in directing and curating artistic initiatives. Currently serving as Scholar in Residence at The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage since January 2014, Edmunds also holds the position of Executive & Artistic Director at the Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA, where leadership involves overseeing the organization and curatorial vision for the renowned Royce Hall. Previous roles include Artistic Director and consultant at the Park Avenue Armory, contributing to its development as a significant arts venue, and Artistic Director at the Melbourne International Art Festival. Edmunds founded and directed the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, showcasing a strong commitment to contemporary arts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Directing and Theatrical Production from Western Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from Montana State University-Bozeman.
