Katharine Schimmer is the current Assistant Artistic Administrator at The Philadelphia Orchestra. Katharine has also worked as an Artist Liaison for the San Francisco Symphony from October 2013 to November 2015, and as a Development and Finance Assistant for the Berkshire Theatre Group from March 2012 to March 2013. Prior to that, they were a Guide and Public Representative for the Boston Symphony Orchestra from June 2008 to August 2009, and also worked as a Teaching Assistant to Dean Robert Sternberg at Tufts University from January 2008 to May 2008.
Katharine Schimmer has a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania in Non-Profit Leadership/Management, a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in English, and an Undergraduate Diploma from the New England Conservatory of Music in Vocal Performance. Katharine also attended Albany Academy for Girls.
