Richard Coates

Richard Coates has extensive leadership experience across various sectors, currently serving as Chair at Eyam Museum since October 2023 and Senior Partner at The Phillips Group - Leadership since August 2022. Richard has been a Business Partner at The Courtyard Playhouse since April 2013 and a Partner at Davos Consulting Group since January 2007. Past roles include Middle East Representative at The Curzon Partnership (2009-2010) and Head of Middle East Consulting as well as Head of M&A Consulting (UK) at Mercer from February 2001 to 2007. Richard also served as Managing Director at Human Resource Partnership (1987-1999) and Consultant at Sibson J&H (1986-1987), following a role as HR Manager at Hewlett Packard from 1980 to 1986. Richard holds a Diploma in Organisational Leadership from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and two degrees from the University of Oxford in Industrial Relations (BLitt) and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (MA / BLitt).
