The Pike School
Laura Jennings is an accomplished educator and analyst with a strong background in mathematics and data analysis. Currently serving as an Upper School Math Teacher at The Pike School since August 2023, Laura previously worked as an Actuarial Analyst at Agilis from December 2020 to August 2023. Laura's academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Vermont, as well as a Master's degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the same institution. Experience as a Graduate Research Assistant involved overseeing research and data projects, including significant roles in data analysis for UVM Dining Services and tutoring in mathematics. Additionally, Laura was the Treasurer for the competitive gymnastics team, showcasing strong organizational and financial management skills.
The Pike School
The Pike School is an independent, coeducational day school located on 35 woodland acres in Andover, Massachusetts. Its comprehensive and sequential program provides education to students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 9. Small class size and individual attention allow for social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of the students within the context of the school community. The Pike School history extends back to 1926 when Cynthia E. Pike started educating six students in her home.
