Maureen Shannon is the current Vice President of Human Resources & Legal Affairs at THE PITTSBURGH CULTURAL TRUST. Prior to their current position, Shannon served as the Performance Management Project Manager at UPMC Enterprises from June 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they led the implementation of a new performance management software system, designed new evaluation processes, tested system functionality, trained staff members, and assessed system performance. Shannon also worked with the vendor to design specialized processes to address unique assessment needs. Furthermore, they incorporated onboarding, training, and succession planning elements into the unified system and participated in an organization-wide talent calibration process to enhance talent planning and retention efforts. Additionally, Shannon worked with HR and L&D professionals to design and implement a leadership training program based on feedback derived from the new performance management system.

Before their role at UPMC Enterprises, Shannon served as the Director of Talent and Organizational Development at The Bradley Center from February 2017 to March 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the talent management function for the organization. This included developing and implementing strategies for recruiting, selection, onboarding, retention, and succession planning. Additionally, Shannon oversaw the development and delivery of training and development programs for all employees.

Prior to their role at The Bradley Center, Shannon worked as a Talent Management Consultant at Techstra Solutions from October 2016 to February 2017. In this role, they provided consulting services to clients in a variety of

Maureen Shannon has a Juris Doctor from Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, a Masters Degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Theirtory from University of Richmond.
