Ray E. Smith

Ray E. Smith has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Ray E. began their career as the Director of Marketing & Brand Development at The BirdsFly Company in 1999. Ray E. then went on to work as the Vice President at the Berkshire Visitors Bureau for ten years, where they were responsible for marketing activities and assisting the president & CEO with organizational operations. In 2010, they joined Adams Co-Operative Bank as the Director of Marketing & Branch Manager, overseeing marketing activities and managing the North Adams Branch. Smith then moved to Adams Community Bank as a Marketing Officer in 2012 and later joined Berkshire Bank as an Assistant Vice President, Marketing Officer in 2013. In 2015, they joined Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVHC) as the Director of Marketing and Communications | Public Information Officer, responsible for marketing, advertising, communications, and public relations. Ray E. was later promoted to the role of Administrative Director, Corporate Development | Public Information Officer | Chief Marketing Officer at SVHC. Most recently, Smith has been working at Pittsfield Cooperative Bank as the Vice President, Director of Marketing.

Ray E. Smith pursued their Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications from Colby-Sawyer College from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they obtained a Master's of Science degree in Corporate Communications from Ithaca College between 1994 and 1996.
