Paola Nicole Marizán

Paola Nicole Marizán is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at The Pivot Fund, where responsibilities include overseeing newsletter management to enhance organizational outreach. Concurrently, Marizán works as a Multilingual Freelance Journalist for The New York Times and as a Children's Book Author for The Adventures Of Bree The Bee. Previous roles include Project Manager and Engagement Trainer for America Amplified, where project coordination and communication facilitation were key aspects, and hosting and developing the ¿Qué Pasa MidWest? podcast for PRX. Additional experience involves voice-over work for The Center For Public Integrity, podcast development for VEST and California Certified Organic Farmers Inc, as well as contributions to The Cutaway Magazine and multimedia journalism at WNIN Tri-State Public Media. Marizán holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Southern Indiana and an Associate's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of the Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico.
