McKenzie Ward has extensive experience in marketing and public relations. McKenzie started their career as an Account Coordinator at Joan Biggs Public Relations from 1997 to 1999. McKenzie then worked as a Publicist at GraceCom, Grace Cathedral Episcopal Church, from 1999 to 2004, where they developed and executed marketing and media relations strategies.
From 2004 to 2008, McKenzie worked as a Creative Project Manager at Joie de Vivre Hotels - Commune Hotels & Resorts, where they managed all creative project management for California's largest collection of boutique hotels. McKenzie then became a Brand Marketing Manager at the same company from 2008 to 2011.
McKenzie joined The PlumpJack Group in 2011 as a Brand Marketing Manager and later became the Director of Digital Marketing from 2014 to 2016. In these roles, they managed various marketing efforts, including website strategy, social media marketing, SEO/SEM, and online editorial content.
Most recently, McKenzie has been working at The PlumpJack Group as the Vice President of Marketing since September 2019.
McKenzie Ward attended Oregon State University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 1997, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at Universite Catholique de l'Oest, focusing on French Cultural & Language Studies. Additionally, in January 2016, McKenzie obtained a certification from NAVIS University.
