Assistant Manager, Crane Maintenance at The Port of Virginia

Joseph Bryant has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. JOSEPH most recently served as the Assistant Manager of Crane Maintenance at The Port of Virginia from December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Crane Operator at Norfolk Naval Shipyard for almost three years, where they safely operated various types of cranes and conducted inspections. From November 2011 to June 2015, Joseph worked as a Force Operations Clerk at Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command, where they managed user accounts and oversaw the execution of substantial funds. JOSEPH began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Navy Cargo Handling Battalion ONE in February 2008, where they trained and managed personnel, handled administrative support for legal proceedings, and managed the Command's Directive Program.

Joseph Bryant began their education in 2013 at ECPI University, where they pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology with a focus on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. JOSEPH completed their studies in 2015.

After that, in 2017, they attended Tidewater Community College and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Electronics Technology in 2018.

Following their community college studies, in 2020, Joseph enrolled in the University of Advancing Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Robotics and Embedded Systems in 2021.

Continuing their education at the same institution, Joseph is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Technology Innovation, which began in 2023 and is expected to conclude in 2024.

Additionally, Joseph holds a certification from the U.S. Navy, as they are certified to handle Sensitive Security Information under Homeland Security. The specific dates for obtaining this certification are not provided.
