Melissa Shawyer

Melissa Shawyer has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications. Melissa co-founded and is the managing director of The PR Group, an independent communications agency that works with innovative brands to build reputation and influence through effective storytelling. Prior to founding The PR Group, Melissa led communications teams for major companies such as NAB, KPMG, Avanade, and Medibank Private. Melissa has also served as a board member of the PRCA APAC Australia Network. Melissa is skilled in developing communications strategies, driving marketing campaigns, and advising stakeholders.

Melissa Shawyer has a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing from the University of South Australia. Melissa also attended Woodlands C.E.G.G.S, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field there.
