Matt Poepsel

Matt Poepsel, PhD, currently serves as Vice President and Godfather of Talent Optimization at The Predictive Index, where responsibilities include designing strategic programs for large clients, facilitating executive workshops, and creating client-specific talent optimization playbooks. In this role, Poepsel advocates for talent optimization, maintains key resources, and educates a global network of consultants. Additionally, Matt Poepsel is a part-time faculty member at Boston College, teaching graduate courses in leadership, human resources, and business spirituality, and serves on the board of the Cape Cod Human Resources Association. Previous experience includes co-founding Covocative, Inc., and holding executive positions at Gomez, Inc. and the US Marine Corps, coupled with extensive academic credentials in psychology and business from various institutions.
