Elaine Craig

Elaine Craig has extensive experience in child protection and safeguarding, currently serving as Interim Assistant Director and Designated Officer for Child Protection at the Education Authority (Northern Ireland) since January 2010. In addition, Elaine has held the position of Head of the Child Protection Support Service at the same authority since January 2019. Elaine also volunteers as a Taking Care Trainer for the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, providing child protection and safeguarding training. Elaine's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Work from Queen's University Belfast (1998-2000) and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Development in Social Work from Ulster University (2004-2008).
