Ashley Broadley

Ashley Broadley is an accomplished professional in sports journalism with extensive experience, currently serving as Chair of the Sports Journalists' Association since September 2020. Broadley has been with PA Media since February 1999, where responsibilities include serving as Sports Editor, overseeing all sports content, as well as previously holding roles as Night News Editor and Regional Reporter. Broadley began a career in journalism at the Telegraph & Argus from September 1995 to February 1999, progressing from trainee to News Reporter focusing on crime coverage. Ashley Broadley holds a BA (Hons) in Media and Communication Studies from Birmingham City University, completed between 1990 and 1993.
