Heather Irwin

Heather Irwin is a seasoned dining editor and food writer with a diverse background in journalism and media. Currently serving as the Dining Editor for Sonoma Magazine and as the Founder and CEO of Sonoma Family Meal, Heather has demonstrated a strong commitment to community and effective food distribution since the 2017 Northern California wildfires. In addition to these roles, Heather holds the position of Digital Creative Director for Sonoma Media Investments, where Heather leads the design and strategy for award-winning news websites. Previous experience includes notable contributions to various prominent food and lifestyle publications, such as BiteClubEats.com, Wine & Spirits Magazine, and Edible Sonoma. Heather holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Miami University.
