Kenzie Broddy has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Starting in 2006, they worked at CHUM Television in special events and hospitality until 2008. Kenzie then moved on to CTV News, where they worked as a National Field Producer from 2007 to 2008, a Producer from 2008 to 2009, and a Reporter from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they joined CBC/Radio-Canada as a News Producer/On-Air Reporter until 2016. Most recently, they have been working at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, starting as a Manager of Marketing & Communications from 2016 to 2017. Kenzie then held the role of Senior Marketing Communications Manager from 2017 to 2019 and Senior Manager of Creative Services from 2019 until their current position as Director of Communications, which they started in December 2022.
Kenzie Broddy pursued their education in a chronological order. From 2004 to 2006, they attended Humber College, where they obtained a 3-year Diploma in Journalism. Following this, they enrolled at Athabasca University from 2013 to 2018, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies.
