Chris Peters has a strong background in finance and risk management. Chris is currently the Head of Balance Sheet Management at Principality Building Society, where they lead the Treasury and ALM teams in optimizing balance sheet performance. Prior to this, they worked as a Financial Risk & Stress Testing Manager at the same company.
Before joining Principality Building Society, Chris held various senior finance positions at TSB Bank. Chris served as a Senior Finance Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis and Personal Loans & Business Banking. Chris also worked as a Finance Business Partner in Business Banking.
Earlier in their career, Chris gained valuable experience at Barclays Bank, where they held roles as a Finance Business Partner in Unsecured Product Finance, Overdrafts, and Investments & Insurance. Chris also worked as an Income Performance Analyst and started their career as a Finance Graduate at the company.
Chris Peters attended Aberdare Boys' School from 1992 to 1999, where they completed their A Levels in Economics, History, and Mathematics. Following this, from 1999 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Management Science at Swansea University.
