William Ryan

William Ryan is the Chief Counsel at PCAOB, working with financial fraud and auditing obligations since January 2007. Prior to this, William served as an Assistant Director at the U.S. Department of Justice, supervising attorneys in various legal forums. William also has experience in teaching legal writing and research at Columbia Law School and representing corporate clients in litigation matters at Bowditch & Dewey, LLP. Additionally, William served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Nathaniel M. Gorton at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Ryan holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor's Degree from Tufts University.
