Bryce Rufener

Bryce Rufener is a Senior Director and Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Apex Tool Group, LLC since 2018, leading an international team in various intellectual property efforts, including patent management, brand protection, technology transactions, and IP strategy implementation. Prior to this role, Bryce served as Corporate Counsel at Caterpillar Inc. from 2012 to 2018, managing global patent activities and drafting agreements for technology transactions. Earlier career experience includes positions as an Intellectual Property Attorney at Caterpillar Inc. and as an Associate at both Michael Best & Friedrich LLP and Foley & Lardner LLP. Bryce holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
