Yenifer Castillo

Yenifer Castillo is an experienced professional in the field of accounting with a strong focus on audit and technical accounting. Currently serving as an Inspections Specialist at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) since October 2018, Yenifer leads inspections of financial statement audit procedures for major public accounting firms while engaging with firm personnel and evaluating audit inspection findings. Previously, as a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting at CFGI, Yenifer provided consulting services on complex accounting transactions and new standards. Yenifer also held the position of Senior Manager at PwC, managing audit teams to ensure compliance with PCAOB, SEC, and GAAP requirements. Early career experience includes serving as Audit Senior at BDO Seidman LLP and Paul Scherer & Company, where Yenifer led numerous financial statement audits for both public and private companies. Yenifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Le Moyne College.
