Carol Wilkerson is the current Director at The Public Relations Society of America-National Capital Chapter. Prior to this, they served as a Fellow for the President's Management Council Interagency Rotation Program at the U.S. Department of Transportation from October 2017 to March 2018. Carol has also worked as the Regional Communications Director at the U.S. Small Business Administration from January 2001 to December 2013, and as the Public Affairs Director at the Peace Corps Chicago Regional Office from August 1997 to February 2001, where they were responsible for brand development, web site traffic growth, web site UI and advertising revenue, and developed brand strategy and statistics systems. Carol's previous experience also includes volunteering with the Peace Corps in St. Kitts-Nevis from January 1995 to December 1997.
Carol Wilkerson has an MPA from Rutgers University - Camden, where they studied logic and theory, economics, organizational management, and statistics. Carol also has a degree in mass media from Hampton University, where they studied radio, TV, and print. Finally, they have a degree in theater and music from Feldwood High School.
