Matt Swayne

Matt Swayne serves as the Chief Content Officer at Resonance, overseeing market intelligence platforms in rapidly growing sectors such as quantum technology, the metaverse, space tech, climate tech, and AI since July 2023. Swayne also functions as Editor for The Quantum Insider and has held the position of Social Media Manager at Ion Power, Inc. since April 2022. From November 2000 until December 2023, Swayne contributed to Penn State University in various roles including Teaching Professor, Adjunct Journalism Instructor, and Public Relations Manager, while also serving as a Science Writer at the Penn State Institute for CyberScience from August 2010 to July 2023. Previous experience includes a VP role at Online Investing AI from 2008 to 2010 and Page Editor at the Centre Daily Times from 1996 to 2000. Swayne holds degrees in Communications and Journalism, as well as a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Penn State University, complemented by foundational education at Tyrone Area High School and Adams School.
