Heather Gaunt

Heather Gaunt is a seasoned professional in the sports and education sectors, currently serving as the Player Relations Manager at The R&A since March 2023. Prior to this role, Heather worked at the University of St Andrews from January 2012 to March 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing employability opportunities for students as the Employability and Experiences Manager, as well as fulfilling the role of Director of Netball at Saints Sport. Heather's previous experience includes serving as the Coach Education and Development Manager (Scotland) at The PGA, Regional Manager at The Football Association, and Marketing and Communications Manager at sports coach UK. Heather holds a BA Hons in Sport from Northumbria University, completed between 1997 and 2000.
