Lorraine Bidgood worked as the Head of Facilities at The R&A from August 2010 onwards. Prior to that, they held the role of Professional Negligence - Claims Manager at Aviva from February 2005 to August 2010.
Lorraine Bidgood obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History degree from the University of Dundee, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. These include B Umpire - Netball from Netball Scotland in November 2019, Mental Health First Aid from MHScot Workplace Wellbeing CIC in November 2018, Level 1 Netball Coaching from UKCC in November 2017, Designated Child Protection Officer from NSPCC Scotland in May 2014, National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in May 2014, and First Aid at Work from Highway 2 in June 2012.
