Paul Muir

Paul Muir is a software developer with extensive experience in various organizations, currently employed at The R&A since September 2018. Previous roles include software engineer positions at DC Thomson and the University of Dundee, where Paul Muir designed and built a curriculum and room booking system. Earlier in the career, Paul Muir worked as a software developer at NHS National Services Scotland, contributing to the SCIDC project focused on diabetes collaboration. The career began as an engineering technician at TRAK Microwave Corporation, specializing in the design, build, and testing of ferrite circulators and isolators for space and military applications. Paul Muir holds a BSc hons in Computing from Abertay University, awarded in 2008.
