David Armstrong

David Armstrong serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Racecourse Association Ltd and holds director positions at the Horserace Betting Levy Board and the British Horseracing Authority since February 2019. With extensive experience in sports governance, David has been an Advisory Board Member for both Halfspace - The Signals & Engagement Agency and Oakwell Capital since 2018. Previous leadership roles include Chair of England Netball from July 2020 to April 2023, Chairman of Pentathlon GB from November 2018 to October 2022, and Non-Executive Director at Wasps and the World Athletics Championships 2017. David's educational background includes degrees from the University of Kent and Campbell College.
