Debra Carmichael

Debra Carmichael has a strong background in human resources and people management. Debra has held the role of Head of People & Culture at several companies including IWS Group, Brandsafe, Rack Group, Anco Storage Equipment Ltd, and Beaverswood®. In these roles, they are responsible for overseeing the company's human resources functions and creating a positive work culture. Prior to that, they served as the Head of HR at Winterhalter UK from 2019 to 2021. Earlier in their career, they worked at Howdens as a Senior L&D Business Partner & Coach and HR Business Partner, and at Arla Foods as an HR Consultant. Debra also gained experience at Routeco as an HR Business Partner and HR Advisor, and at Volkswagen Group UK Ltd as an HR Services Advisor and Customer Care Team Manager. Debra has a diverse range of experience in HR roles across various industries.

Debra Carmichael completed the Level 7 CIPD Diploma in HR Management from 2009 to 2013 in the field of Human Resources Management. Debra also holds additional certifications, including Agile HR Certified Practitioner from the Agile HR Community, obtained in 2023, and an Advanced Diploma in HR Management (CIPD Level 7) from CIPD.
