Azzurra Massidda is a qualified veterinary ophthalmologist with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Clinician in veterinary ophthalmology at The Ralph (Veterinary Referral Centre) since May 2021, Azzurra has previously completed residency roles in veterinary ophthalmology at Dick White Referrals from April 2018 to January 2020 and at The University of Edinburgh from January 2020 to March 2021. Azzurra holds a Laurea in Medicina Veterinaria from Università degli Studi di Sassari, earned from 2004 to 2010.

We are an independent, compassionate and ethical-practice focused veterinary referral centre for dogs and cats located in Marlow, Buckinghamshire (on the M4/M40 corridor to the west of London). We opened our doors in February 2019. Our services include Emergency and Critical Care (which operates 24-7-365), Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics, Soft-Tissue Surgery, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Dentistry, Anaesthesia and Analgesia, and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
