Founding Team

The Real Deal was founded by a team with experience in academia, media, and tech. The company's president and editor-in-chief, Amanda Kleinman, has a background in teaching at Columbia University and New York University. She also has experience as an executive producer at PBS. Another member of the founding team, Justin Millar, has a degree in Foreign Relations/Journalism from Emerson College and experience in product development and sales at Yahoo!.
