Nicole Bernstein is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in user experience (UX) design and research. Currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of UX Design & Research at The RealReal since June 2021, Nicole leads a team that designs innovative products and experiences for various platforms. Previous roles include Senior User Experience Designer at Nike's Valiant Labs, where Nicole developed a specialized app for female runners, and Sr. Director of Experience Design at Lyric, focusing on technology-driven hospitality solutions. Nicole also has significant experience as a Senior Design Lead at IDEO, collaborating with major brands such as Amazon and Coca-Cola, and has held mentoring and project development roles at Andreessen Horowitz and Uber. Nicole holds an AB in Comparative Literature from Princeton University and an MS in Arts Journalism from Columbia University.
