Carl E. Upthegrove

Carl E. Upthegrove has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2017. Carl E. started their career as the Director of the Global Manufacturing Practice at Autodesk, where they had P&L responsibility for a global team and successfully grew the business. Carl E. then worked as the Principal at Upthegrove Consulting, specializing in small and medium-sized businesses in the San Francisco and North Bay Area.

In 2006, Carl served as the Interim Controller at Senetek PLC, where they were responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations. Carl E. later became the Controller at MCORP in 2008.

From 2009 to 2011, they ran their own firm, Upthegrove Consulting, as the Owner/Principal, providing accounting and financial analysis services to various clients.

In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Investment Advisor at Investment Planners Inc., utilizing their financial analysis skills to assist clients in developing investment strategies.

In 2013, they temporarily served as the Interim CFO/Director of Finance & Administration at Buckelew Programs Inc.

From 2014 onwards, Carl worked as the CFO at The Redwoods, a non-profit retirement community in Marin County, where they had overall financial and accounting responsibility, including strategic planning and budgeting.

Finally, in 2017, Carl retired after working in various locations.

Carl E. Upthegrove completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University - East Bay, where they studied from 1978 to 1981. Later, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Management from California State University, Bakersfield, which they obtained between 1989 and 1991.
