Kristen Childers has over 17 years of professional experience. Kristen began their career in 2002 as a Business Intern for IVESCO, LLC (formerly Wynco Distributors). During their time there, they trained with each department and assisted with projects for all departments. In 2003, they moved into the role of Marketing Coordinator of Dealer Sales at IVESCO, LLC, where they created all marketing materials and pricing information utilized by dealer sales representatives when calling on customers, managed two annual trade shows, and managed an annual sales meeting for a group of 20+ sales representatives and company vendors. In 2006, they joined James Madison University as a Graduate Assistant in the Learning, Technology and Leadership Education (LTLE) Department within the College of Education while earning their MBA full-time. Kristen primarily focused on the Human Resources Development (HRD) academic programs as this was their undergraduate minor and reviewed HRD graduate program applicants to make recommendations to the HRD Department Head for acceptance. Finally, in 2008, they joined The Remi Group (Remi) as a Contract Manager and Proposal Writer.

Kristen Childers received their MBA in Business Administration from James Madison University in 2007, after having completed their BBA in Business Marketing from the same university in 2003.
