The Research Foundation for SUNY
Abdel Latif Khammash is an experienced researcher and educator with a strong background in engineering. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY since January 2021, Khammash focuses on the reliability of Perovskite solar cells and data analysis within the research group. Previous roles include a Teacher Assistant at Binghamton University, where responsibilities involved teaching courses related to additive manufacturing, engineering management, and materials for manufacturing, as well as a Lecturer at Middle East University, teaching a variety of engineering and energy-related subjects. Earlier experience as a Teaching Assistant at Jordan University of Science and Technology involved supporting students in HVAC, fluid mechanics, and thermal design courses. Khammash holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Jordan University of Science and Technology.

The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (RF) is the largest, most comprehensive university-connected research foundation in the country. It exists to serve the State University of New York (SUNY) by providing essential sponsored programs administration and innovation support services to SUNY faculty, students and staff who perform life-changing research in life sciences and medicine; engineering and nanotechnology; physical sciences and energy; social sciences; and computer and information sciences.
