Bhoomika Pandit

Bhoomika Pandit is currently a Nucleic Acid Research Intern at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., starting in June 2024, while concurrently serving as a Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY since May 2021. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University at Albany, SUNY from January 2021 to May 2022, and founding a startup at GUSEC from July 2020 to December 2021. Bhoomika also gained practical skills as a trainee in synthetic organic chemistry at the National Chemical Laboratory in early 2020 and as a Research Assistant at Gayatri Dyes and Chemicals from July 2018 to January 2020. An internship at Essar Power Gujarat Ltd. in November 2017 provided insight into basic chemistry principles in a thermal power plant. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at the University at Albany (2020-2025), Bhoomika holds a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from Gujarat University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad (2013-2016).
